The Southwest Florida Museum of History currently features a wide variety of

cattlemen, local military operations and much, much more. The Museum even
features a dazzling display of more than 1,200 pieces of depression and carnival

Short Term Showstoppers: Temporary Exhibits on Display Now
The Southwest Florida Museum of History is currently preparing to unveil a

- The Miami Dolphins Gallery of Legends Exhibits - Football fans are
invited to explore more than 40 years of Dolphin history right here in Fort
Myers. Tons of memorabilia, artifacts and authentic football items are set
to grace the display cases at the Southwest Museum of History beginning July
22nd.
- Fort Myers: An Urban Perspective Art Exhibit - This exciting local art
exhibits was designed to help members of the community recover from the
devastating effects of Hurricane Charley. The exhibit received such a warm
response that Museum curators decided to bring it back for another season. This
exhibit features a number of exciting contemporary art pieces each of which was
designed specifically for the museum.
Add Some Adventure to your Vacation
A brand new program was recently unveiled at the Southwest Florida Museum of
History. This exciting program provides children with an interactive camp
experience right inside the Museum. The Fun at the Fort: Hands On Adventure Camp
includes a ton of exciting demonstrations, exhibitions and lectures. The
Southwest Florida Museum of History has partnered with Fort Myers Imaginarium to
help host this new and innovative program so don't miss your chance to check it

The Southwest Florida Museum of History is currently open Tuesday through
Saturday from 10am to 5pm. It is also open on Sundays from noon to 4pm.
Individual and group tours are always welcome. Admission to the Museum is just
